It looks like the workman who have been doing ’something’ to the ourside of my block have somehow knackered the communal aerial. I can’t get a decent picture anymore which is a bit of a pig when one’s nice new DTVA requires perfect reception.

Complicated times at work. People don’t really seem to be in the mood for working due to the redundancies. Morale is at rock-bottom. The migration of my Sun workstation to the new network meant it was out of action for practically the whole of today, so I did little. The project I’m on, which I almost feel I’m running myself, will soon get it’s third project manager in as many weeks.

Valentina has invited me to a World Cup party at her house (Brazil’s first match). I don’t know if I’ll go as I don’t care for football but the atmosphere could be good, even though I won’t know most of the people there.

I haven’t got anything planned for the Jubilee. Decorations around the town centre, and in almost every shop window, are nice.
