All packed. Main bag is 15Kg and smaller one is 5.5Kg - within their limits but it’s going to be a trial carrying them to the station. I hope sufficient reading material has been included (Beowulf, The Odyssey, Plato and a book on Haskell).
Mother is slightly better. It looks like some weeks rest is what she needs, even though she’s moaning about getting bored given how active she is normally. I suppose it’s all very well talking about taking it easy until you actually watch daytime television.
The trimphone will have to go; the microphone’s gone and all the other person hears is a frying-bacon sound effect.
