Bought two new (actually old) Biosphere albums. The CD case design of Substrata 2 was so cool I felt suddenly creatively inspired and set to with Photoshop on my Mac. However the feeling passed after realising I’d do a whole lot better if I could be bothered to read the Photoshop manual and learn how to masks and overlays properly.

Is code creative? Is code free speech?

Speaking of code I’m semi-inspired to continue with my bug reporting tool, after being liberated from the dreadful in-house tool we have to use at work for our new project. The replacement is OK but I’m sure I could do better - I just hope I don’t lose interest half way through.

Make time to learn Haskell. Then maybe I’d do better in Erlang.

Going to write a long letter to boyf this weekend. Love is strange.

Life seems to be strolling along a little too comfortably at the moment - I feel like something will go bang any moment, that something probably being me.

In any case I’m working this weekend, albeit for only a few hours. This means I can’t see Valentina, whom I owe a breadmaker.

It’s time I did some more coding, preferably in PHP or continued with my XML. There’s just something I feel I should be doing that I’m not; if you know what it is do let me know.
