I registered with the Friends Reunited website recently and received an email from my secondary school English teacher! She even remembered me which is nice, though I don’t know if I was memorable for good or bad behaviour.
Off to the US tomorrow, now by British Airways. I’m being picked up at the airport by Nancy which is nice.
Over and out.

Not a good weekend (a lot of it was spent working). Furthermore next week will be far from fun too. If anything happens to interfere with my travel I’ll go completely bonkers.
Meanwhile I entertain myself by trying to get my nice new five-in-one remote control to recognise all necessary electronic devices. Nerdyness squared.

Woo! Prompted by Joshua McGee’s website, I checked Altavista’s family filter and, sure enough, it blocks my site too!
I almost feel honoured.

Flights to the US resuming slowly. Most likely they’ll be back to normal by the middle of next week.
Shock: current BA economy ticket to Chicago

Flights to the US still messed up (as of today US carriers can fly but no others until they meet new FAA security rules). I hope this doesn’t extend into October as I desperately need to see boyf.
As usual, Virgin Atlantic’s website is down - it seems to crash if more than two people access it simultaneously. Annoying as I’m probably going to fly Virgin.
Tomorrow: visit Denise and buy a Guardian for Daryl. I like to keep busy.

I’m stressed. So much so my eyesight started to blur this afternoon.
Note to self: do
work this weekend, life is more important than customer deadlines.
62 Eulengasse is drifting across from my CD player - very nice.

Much shopping in Lush tomorrow for nice pressies for Nancy and Terry. Nancy’s request list is:
3 Butterball fizz bombs
1 Creamed almond & coconut smoothie shower soap
1 Skinny dip shower gel
On top of this will be stuff for terry. Along with everything else I need to pack I hope it’ll all fit in my rucksack and US customs don’t get snarky over the excess of gifts (which have to be declared and duty paid if they come to over $100).
Giving presents is nice.

Roll on 1st October, when I get to visit boyf again.
I’m listening to Seefeel and eating lemon drizzle cake.
I ordered 2001: A Space Odessey on DVD.
The above may or may not be connected and is left as an exercise for the reader.
